About Go To Sleep Dental

Getting good sleep is critical to optimal health. Sleep apnea isn’t just annoying; it’s also dangerous. When you have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), your airways are blocked periodically as you rest, stopping your breathing, waking you up intermittently, and preventing you from getting the deep sleep you need. This can lead to fatigue, high blood pressure, depression, diabetes, strokes, heart disease, or even death. 90% of people who have sleep apnea don’t even realize they have it! But they do know that they’re tired, and that something’s just not right with their sleep. Go To Sleep Dental is one of the few dental practices in the area that specializes in sleep apnea treatment. If you believe you have sleep apnea, we can discuss your symptoms in order to give you an accurate diagnosis, and treat you directly in-office (some patients may require surgery, which we do not perform in-office). Our expert dentists can restore your rest!

About us

What We Do

After evaluating you and confirming a correct sleep apnea diagnosis in conjunction with your current physician(s), we will help you understand different options you have for treatment and recommend one based on the severity of your condition and your unique lifestyle. The most popular treatment option, a CPAP device, keeps your airway open while you sleep by supplying air through your nasal passages, but Compliance rate is Poor. We will explain options of different dental devices that can be worn nightly to open the airway without the use of a CPAP. We will walk you through every step of the process, and we promise that you’ll always feel like you are valued like family. When you work with our Dentist, you get exceptional care that’s focused on your ideal sleep outcome!

How We Work

Get a free first consultation

Diagnosing sleep apnea properly is important to ensure effective treatment. When you come in for a free consultation, we will discuss your symptoms. A sleep evaluation will be necessary to determine how much your sleep apnea is affecting your rest.

Custom treatment plan

We explain all of your options and help you choose one that is right for you. If you choose to use a CPAP device, we will fit you with it and demonstrate how it works right in our office. We will provide you with a complete set of take-home instructions so you can begin treatment with confidence.

Progress check

After your initial trial period, we will schedule a follow up appointment to determine how effective the treatment has been and make adjustments as needed. Our goal is to get you to complete sleep all night long!

What our clients say

“I too was very apprehensive about utilizing a dental appliance to solve my sleep apnea issues (a problem that has plagued me for over 15 years). I have utilized several different types of CPAP machines (and face harnesses) and they all share one common feature – restricting my movement while in bed. I chose not to use a CPAP machine and have dealt with sleep issues for years. After being fitted with the appliance – and wearing it a few times (getting used to the apparatus in my mouth), I could not imagine life without it. It has become not only part of my life, but also a way of living a healthier life. I feel that I have created a new habit that has improved my overall quality of life. All of the issues I experienced before the dental appliance are virtually non-existent.”
– Jim Q.

“I have to tell you that my lack of sleep started some time ago. I was in the military and suffered from some PTSD, and have never been able to get back into sleeping well. I summed it up to being my new way of life. I learned about this new technique from the doctor and team here, and I have tried it. It has completely changed not only the way I sleep but how I feel when I get up in the morning. I feel great, I feel well rested in the morning and it continues for the rest of the day. This hasn’t only improved my way of life but also the people around me. Give it a try and be a patient because after some time you will be grateful you did.”
– Clayton S.

“For years I thought I was a terrible sleeper. Just thought that was how it was going to be. When I was presented with a home sleep test I immediately thought there was no way I could wear a cpap machine. When I was told I could use a device, I was intrigued. Since having an oral sleep appliance, I sleep better and even dream. I wake up rested. I no longer fall asleep on car ridse. It changed my life, thank you Dr. McCaslin and Chelsea.”
